Reading: 20 minutes. Each student needs to have 3 PASSED AR tests taken by 10/19/18. 
Spelling: Definitions cards lesson 4 #8-15. Test is Friday. 
Math: lesson 26 #2-30 EVEN. 
Social Studies: Reread pages 70-71. 
English: WB 38-39. Quiz Friday over the verb list that I gave out on Tuesday. You will need to recite them. 
**Parents, Sign and RETURN test papers tomorrow. 

3rd Grade Social Studies: Review 56-59 and do sheet 49. 

October 9, 2018

Reading: 20 minutes.
Spelling: Copy words and definitions for Lesson 4 #1-7. Definitions test is Friday. 
Math: no hw
English: WB 37. Quiz Friday over the verb list hand out I gave you today.  Be able to SAY them from memory.
Social Studies: chapter 3 lesson 2 quiz tomorrow.
**Practice on recorders and bring them tomorrow. 

3rd Grade Social Studies: Review pages 55-57.

Spelling: Lesson 4 definitions test is Friday.
Reading: 20 min. Remember that 3 passed AR tests are due by 10/19/18.

Spelling: Write the missed words correctly 5 times on the back of the practice test. Spelling list test is tomorrow. Remember that next week is a short week, so start studying the definitions this weekend. 
Math: lesson 24 #2-30 EVEN numbered problems. Next test is Tuesday, October 9th. 
Social Studies: chapter 3 lesson 2 quiz is October 10th. 
**Remember that we have no school on Monday, October 8th. We are out for Columbus Day. 

3rd Grade Social Studies: Reread pages 50-54.

Spelling: List 4. Copy #11-15 three times on notebook paper. "Spelling" test is Friday. 
Math: lesson 23 #2-30 EVEN. 
**The music teacher has asked the children to please practice on their recorders in preparation for the Veteran's Day program. 
**Parents, please sign and return test papers. Please see the field trip permission slip in the folder. That should be returned by October 19th. 

3rd Grade Social Studies: Finish sheet 45.

Reading: 20 minutes.
English: Study all the sheets in your English pocket of your binder for Unit 2 test tomorrow.
Spelling: List 4. Copy words #6-10 three times on notebook paper.
Math: lesson 22 #2-30 even numbered problems.
Bring recorders to school tomorrow for music.

Spelling: List 4. Copy #1-5 three times on notebook paper. Test is Friday on the SPELLING of the word list. 
Math: Lesson 21 #1-29 ODD numbered problems. 
Social Studies: Chapter 3 lesson 1 quiz is tomorrow. 

3rd Grade Social Studies: Chapter 2 test is tomorrow. Study the highlighted terms, the memory masters, and the social studies sheets.
